School Alert: Gulf Middle School
Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested an 11-year-old student from Gulf Middle School for making written threats to kill. The threat did not occur on campus, and there was no immediate threat to campus safety. There is no public safety threat to Gulf Middle School.
PSO reminds parents, guardians and students about the consequences of making threats, which can include possible legal ramifications, including arrest. We want to take this opportunity to remind all students and families that threats of violence, even hoax threats, are taken extremely seriously. PSO once again urges parents and guardians to speak with their children about these consequences.
