Officers Pay Tribute to Fallen Brothers

Officers from local, state and federal agencies came together at the historic Dade City Courthouse May 1 for the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service to recognize those Pasco officers killed in the line of duty. The fallen officers include:

Pasco Dep. William O'Berry, EOW: Jan. 1, 1926
Pasco Dep. John McCabe, EOW: June 26, 1948
Florida Trooper James Crooks, EOW: May 19, 1998
Pasco Dep. Charles Harrison, EOW: June 1, 2003

Law Enforcement Memorial Service Photographs

Light the Memorial   Bagpipes
Florida Troopers, Lt. Arthur Pugh and Sgt. Heather Glenny, light the memorial to honor fallen Trooper James Crooks.   Bagpipers, James MacDonald and Ryan Brosnan, play the traditional song "Going Home" during the ceremony.

 

Riderless Horse   Salute
Pasco Dep. John Bushell leads the riderless horse which symbolizes the fallen officers.   Members of the Honor Guard Rifle Squad fire a three round volley during the seven gun salute.
